Always wash out water colours and acrylic paint when wet.
Remove oil colours from the brush with a rag.
Following the pre-cleaning, wash all brushes with warm water and fat-replenishing soap until there is no longer paint in the body of hair.
Thoroughly clean the hairs on the ferrule rim so that no pigment residue hardens there. If this happens, then the hairs either break or split and no longer form a perfect point.
After cleaning dry the brush upright in its pointed form at room temperature.
The body of the hair needs a long time to dry completely, so we recommend that you do not put the plastic covering back on the brush.
If you clean and care for your brush following these few guidelines, then your brush is guaranteed a longer life span and you the joy of working with a high-quality tool.
