Note:
Brushes for liquid paints and water-colures have a long length-out and, as a rule, a white ferrule. Additionally brushes from synthetic hair are made from more soft material.
Brushes for thick paints have a yellow ferrule and a short length-out.

Watercolor brushes have longer hair than oil ones. Watercolor synthetics brushes also have softer filament.
